January News

Welcome back Grade 4 families!

I am happy to be back after a lovely break and am looking forward to continuing our learning journey together in 2018!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas holiday and are ready to get right back into routine.

LANGUAGE:

In reading, students will be focusing on analyzing texts.  I have included an example of what this means.

Writing:

Our class will be focusing on writing a Narrative, using quotation marks, adjectives and good use of voice.  The topic will be "Stuck in a Snow Globe".  Look for your child's finished work on the bulletin board during parent-teacher interviews in February!
